I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent encounter I had with the front desk receptionist at your establishment. The receptionist’s behavior was incredibly rude and verbally aggressive, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment. I believe that patients deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when seeking medical care. Unfortunately, my experience at your office was far from that. Given the abundance of other medical establishments in the area that offer pleasant and respectful staff, I strongly recommend that patients consider alternative options. I have been a patient at this clinic for over two years and tried to overlook the receptionists attitude and lack of proper resources available to a medical facility however I have reached my wits end this afternoon. After being notified of the death of a loved one which would require me to travel out of country I called to reschedule my appointment as instructed in the voicemail which was left. Before I even had the opportunity to explain why I needed to reschedule the receptionist immediately began trying to scold me for not providing notice sooner. The hostility and lack of compassion is unacceptable. My own parents don’t speak to me in such a tone so I would never tolerate such treatment from any other individual. It breaks my heart because I regularly support black owned medical clinics and clinicians however I will not accept disrespect. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and address the issue promptly to ensure that future patients do not have a similar negative experience.
