Maimonides Ob Gyn

I've been visiting for the past 3 months and so far it's been great. Never a long wait time. Everyone has good bed side manners. My doctor is kind, very informative and concise. I don't have to chase anyone down for results on any testing.

Absolutely horrific billing department. I spoke to Chrissy (I wouldn't be surprised if she lied about her name), who was extremely rude and wouldn't answer my questions. My insurance confirmed they paid out the claim, I shared screenshots from showing the claim was indeed processed and with my claim ID. She was argumentative every single step of the way and continually would cut me off when I was trying to ask questions. They claim they never billed my insurance thats why I got a bill for $1200 out of pocket, but I have the screenshots to proof otherwise. I tried explaining that I even called my insurance and they confirmed they paid out. The screenshot from the insurance shows it’s been billed and processed. There is no reason for me to be getting bills for the entire amount. I shared this with Maimonides. Not to mention, they had my insurance at the time of the appointment so claiming not to bill my insurance just makes them look incompetent. Maimonides truly needs to work on their customer service.
