Please think twice about seeing this mental health provider as I found our appointment with him to be troubling. I brought my child in for an appointment and left feeling depressed and hopeless. Unsolicited, Dr. Lauter informed me that my child had no future and 'if left on her own, couldn't find her way out of a paper bag.' I could not believe how condescending, arrogant, and frankly, hurtful his approach was. He was unhelpful in addressing the questions I came to see him about, and generally seemed uninterested in helping my child at all. I am still puzzled, hurt and disappointed by my visit to this doctor. Do NOT recommend.
