I believe from what I'm reading lantern community service owns a building at 440 West 163rd well I happen to live in that building Audubon Hall and I got to say I came all the way from Chicago to secure housing and get my life on track. Unfortunate but if lantern owns this building and they are overseas a supervisor who is Carlos. I do really need some help because this is a nightmare there's so many things that are bad about it but I'll say one thing the case management here is the worst I've ever dealt with in my whole life... It's disturbing and troublesome.... You know the phrase where they say they do the bare minimum just to get that paycheck and that's exactly what's going on here with these case managers.... Disturbing and absolutely no concern for the clients that are behind the door .... I feel like I was juiced up and then I'm out of sight out of mind.... My name is Polo and I stay at 440 West 163rd if anybody can give me any advice on how to get a shortcut to a better place because I don't want to lose the shit I've collected during the 9 months I've been here. I mean if I did then those cold case managers would win. And that wouldn't be right to do to somebody whos only intentions were to better themselves. The leasing lady Jasmine lied to me I had several questions lined up for her before I signed any type of lease and all of them were positive responses but it was absolutely clear to me that she lied probably in order to get a bonus and it was obvious a couple hours or less from the dates I moved in January 15th .... Whether I sent this to the correct place or not I still feel like I got a little off my chest because I truly keep to myself as much as possible.Im .unclear if lantern owns it but I got to get that off my chest a little bit. It is crucial for us to explore alternative solutions that can better serve the needs of our community without compromising our environment or safety.Increase in litter and trash in the area surrounding the migrant shelter. Unfortunately, it appears that some individuals do not take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of the space, which has resulted in an unsightly environment.the presence of the migrant Shelter seems to attract more problems than it solves. Instead of fostering a safe and positive environment, it has inadvertently become a source of tension and disorder. As community members, we have a vested interest in maintaining a safe and clean neighborhood, and the current situation with the migrant shelter is hinders those efforts.I believe it may be beneficial to consider closing the Shelter. It is crucial for us to explore alternative solutions that can better serve the needs of our community without compromising our environment or safety.
