I have been a patient of Dr. Kolb for at least 20 years. The depth of his skill and knowledge combined with his unmatched bedside mannerism make him one of those rare finds of a doctor. He is an exceptional diagnostician as he was able to find my sister’s breast cancer when it was Stage 0, and to this day she remains healthy. Though he is always thorough and comprehensive with his medical care, he is also quite gifted with being able to alleviate fears and concerns. That is partly a reflection of his warmth and compassion as he treats his patients as individuals and human beings, not just as a patient. He is always willing to address any questions and concerns in a thoughtful, thorough and informative manner. I also want to note that Dr. Kolb’s staff are equally as wonderful. They are the utmost in professionalism, and always work with the patient to provide ready access to Dr. Kolb. In a nutshell, I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kolb for more than two decades because I’ve always felt like I am in the most capable of hands. Truly, I could not ask for a better physician than Dr. Kolb as he is a gift to the medical field and his patients.

A good friend suggested I contact Dr. Kolb when I got a mammogram indicating a need for a biopsy. Obviously, I'm not a doctor and cannot officially attest to his competence as a doctor. However, everything played out exactly like he said it would. It was the first time I went through this ordeal and going to Dr. Kolb was one of the best decisions I made during the whole process. Everyone who works in his office is very nice. In my case, they understood that he was a second opinion and they were helpful when I decided to get yet another opinion. They were quick to send reports and accept reports from other places. Dr. Kolb is a doctor that takes the time to explain your situation. In an industry where many doctors think you should do something just because they say so, he is unique. He respects your need to understand the process and the information you are being given about your body. I will be coming here for my mammograms and sonograms from now on. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kolb to any friend or family member.
