I have been gate keeping Jeffrey Cooper OD from my friends and family for quite some time. As perhaps an act of redemption, I must humbly confess to the google reviews algorithm that he is a world class optometrist, who always gets my contacts and glasses perfect. A new world every time I get his prescription in a frame, every contact RX with him is a similar experience. Old school, simply the best. There is simply no one better in NYC.

I visited Dr Cooper's practice last week for the first time on the recommendation of a colleague and must say I was very impressed. The staff were warm and courteous, there was a very short wait time once I arrived for my appointment, and the doctor took the time to answer my questions and review various options for me. I also did not feel pressured to make an immediate decision as to purchasing glasses or scheduling a follow up for contact fitting. I will definitely be returning.
