The doctor was professional, and I have no complaints about the medical care itself. However, my experience with the office administration was very frustrating. Test results that were available within a few days were not communicated by phone, even when they were completely normal and required no treatment. Instead, patients are required to schedule follow-up appointments weeks or even months later just to be told that everything is fine. The office’s policy appears to require an in-person visit regardless of whether any medical action is needed. This results in unnecessary appointments, long wait times, and additional costs to patients and insurance providers. In my case, I spent hours waiting in the office only to learn that my results were normal and no treatment was necessary. I believe patients should have the option to receive routine, normal test results by phone or through a patient portal rather than being required to attend an office visit. While the physician was fine, the office’s communication and follow-up process could be significantly improved.
