Stopped in Friday afternoon and was given a 10AM appointment for Monday. Arrived 9:50. Receptionist greeted me by name. This is a grade A, gleaming, brand new facility with young, energetic professionals who are polite & do not believe in keeping people waiting. When I DID have to wait-for my wife to finish-I did so in a spotless lounge, drinking complimentary coffee, sitting in a comfortable chair, watching TV. And watched as one of the Oak Street employees spent half an hour with an elderly gentleman, helping him to find new housing. This a not a health care facility like they ‘used to be,’ it is a facility like there never was before. Just terrific.
