I was a transfer from Beth Israel late Friday night. As soon as I got transported to the Labor and Delivery floor, one of the nurses was very rude and told me that my husband & my two kids were not allowed to be on the floor with me and this is not a Daycare. Meanwhile my toddler was already sleeping and my oldest is well behaved enough to stay beside me in my own personal area which had a curtain to cover. I had gotten another nurse to tend to me thank god. Her name was Anna and just super nice! Her kindness was definitely very much appreciated. Later on I heard on the other side of my curtain Anna being asked by that rude nurse why was I here on their floor? Completely none of her concern whatsoever!! Later on I had discovered there was a woman just a couple of feet away from me with her child! This hospital should terminate nurses that clearly and visibly don’t know how to treat patients with respect! On the up side, we need more nurses like Anna!!
