I had my eyes examined at Sur Eye Care in early March 2026 because of its convenient location and it ended up being a big mistake. They had me sign two blank insurance claim forms and told me my insurance did no cover contact lens exam (which it did) They charged me $100.00 in cash for the contact lens exam and later billed my insurance company over $1,000.00 for the visit. They were reimbursed over $800.00 by my insurance company for a simple eye exam and to-date they have not released my contact lenses to me because they said they are still waiting to be paid separately for the contact lenses by my insurance company. Beware of this fraudulent establishment and stay away from them. Please take my advise.

Don’t be fooled by the signs!! Check the credential of the doctor before you see the doctor.. At SUR eye care there is a so called “Doctor” name “Charles Kim”. There is no history of his medical credential anywhere. Please make sure an actual Doctor With medical license from United States is providing care that YOU and your Insurance is paying full price for!!!! In person and online SUE eye care were unable to provide any proof of credential for the doctor.
