I have been a patient since the clinic was located on 125th Street and returned after briefly going elsewhere. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the current staff was very upsetting. A new technician was extremely rude while drawing my blood. When I asked her to bear with me before inserting the needle, she rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth, and displayed a complete lack of basic bedside manners. I addressed her behavior at the time. What ultimately led me to file this complaint was the lack of follow-up regarding my ankle X-ray. I was told results would be available within 1–3 days, yet I waited seven days and received repeated runarounds about someone calling me back. The only way I was able to speak to anyone was by demanding to speak to someone immediately. When the doctor finally came on the line, I was told my ankle was not broken and offered an appointment for pain medication, which I declined. I will not be scheduling any future appointments with this office. This experience left me in tears—not only because of how I was treated, but out of concern for elderly patients or others who may not feel comfortable speaking up for themselves. No patient should be treated with such disrespect.
