First clinician I had was great and the reason this is a 3/5 review and not a 2/5 - however she was a student and a temp hire as a result. I got switched to a clinician whose mannerisms reminded me of one of my abusers. I expressed this to management and that I would like to speak to someone who DOES NOT trigger me. After that, I never got a call back or heard from Greenwich House ever again. I'm with a different provider now. I wouldn't recommend this place for long term treatment (over 6 months).

They take Medicaid and their wait list was reasonable. So you know the process: there’s an intake or two, then a psych eval. Afterwards you get placed with a therapist. ( If you don’t click with the therapist, you kinda have to take what’s given, so be forewarned. It can be a lot of time and emotional energy to participate in the process.) That said, they did have openings pretty soon and if you do click with your therapist you’re golden.
