The office was clean, efficiently run, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Levine was very attentive and clear with her recommendations, and helpful with digging up the root of my concerns and addressing them. And she has a messaging system where she clearly summarized her guidance and is available for questions. I had a great experience here and look forward to coming back (as is routine or needed).

My initial visit to Dr. Breuer, as my new primary doc, was very positive. She allowed plenty of time to discuss any issues, listened closely, and offered some suggestions I haven’t heard from others I’ve consulted. I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed. She provided referrals readily, both digitally and in paper copies, which I prefer for filing — even suggesting some diagnostic tests that I haven’t been offered before, to try and pinpoint causes for a recurring issue. She has a reassuringly calm demeanor and her pleasant aspect was especially striking when I discovered she was herself in some pain from a wrenched back — I note that because it indicates an appreciated level of professionalism to be able to separate personal discomfort from interactions with clients, not allowing it to negatively affect the exchange. My blood draw by support staff was competently done and reception personnel was helpful and efficient, not chummy but also not curt. Wait time was average-to-quick relative to other docs, though be aware that first-time patients like me will have to complete many-screen medical history forms sent digitally prior to the visit and those can take a full 15-25 minutes, depending on your ready access to your past info. I personally needed more time for that than I’d expected. So, if waiting to do that paperwork in the office the day of your visit, I’d arrive earlier than the suggested 15 minutes before appt time. I found it easier to fill it out at home where I had access to some old records and more time to consider replies. It was clear, however, that Dr. Breuer had actually reviewed my responses before the appt, from her questioning me for details, which is not always the case with docs these days and something I also appreciated. If you care about environment, that was also a positive, the office itself felt newly opened, very clean and a little more nicely furnished than most. Plus, its mid-town location, a few blocks closer to Times Square than the typical east-30s cluster of medical offices, makes it an easy trip from just about anywhere. I selected Dr. Breuer based on others’ positive reviews (which appear accurate based on this first visit), as well as her affiliation with NYU Langone, one of the better-rated hospitals in my area, for both success and patient satisfaction of non-specialized care.
