In terms of Provider Care Dr Roa is the best. Very caring, considerate, professional. You never have to wait too long when you have an appointment with Dr. Roa. However I would like to mention the front desk staff is not too helpful. I needed a simple School medical form signed by Dr. Roa, something that usually takes no more than a day or two. I stopped by the day after my son's appointment to drop something off, while I was there I just asked when the form might be ready. She told me snippily, and while she talked over me, that it takes a couple of days. I said okay, please just call me when it is ready. So I did not receive a call from them. I called them today, Tuesday, almost a week after the appointment. I call when the office is supposed to be open and I get an automated message that the office is closed. I call back about a half hour later and got automated message which told me to leave a voicemail, which I did. 3 hours later I still had not gotten a call back. Finally I stopped into the office in person, and asked if the form was ready. They looked at my information as if they had never heard this request before, and said I needed to wait a few minutes while they got the doctor to sign the form. It was obviously they had done absolutely nothing to move forward this simple request since the week before. There had been no blood tests or anything left to wait for that the doctor had to see, before he signed the form. In the past I believe he's even signed the same day. (I don't blame him for this whatsoever to be clear,, I have no doubt it was the office staff that was to blame). They finally gave me the form. I will continue to go here because Dr Roa is so good, but the staff needs some retraining on how to deal with people, provide standard forms to parents who are waiting for them, and contact parents when the form is ready to be picked up. As well as responding to voicemails in a timely manner.
