I have been thinking for days to come up with an unbiased and fact-only review. As this is definitely an emotional journey for anyone trying to conceive, let's ignore the results of treatments (positive or negative), as this is a very individual experience. I understand why other reviews keep mentioning this practice only caring about billing - patients do not feel the care that they should receive. What I can say with absolute confidence is that this organization lacks communication with patients. Imagine my surprise to find out that my original doctor (Dr. Grazi) had retired and sold his practice! And no, I did not hear this from Dr. Grazi, I found out through a nurse. How can they treat patients like this? Fine, maybe Dr. Grazi just decided to leave once everything is finalized; but shouldn't the new owners reach out to the existing patients and let them know of this change? Who would be the new doctor assigned or consult with patient to choose a new doctor etc? Another reason for my comments of lack of communication: when there is sensitive information to discuss with patients. Why does Genesis feel it is ok for nurses to pass along message from the doctor to patient over the phone? Does the 'doctor of the day' not have the decency to call the patient to have a discussion? Even better would be requesting patients to come in to have a discussion but let's be realistic and understand that not everyone can drop what they do and return to the clinic later on the same day. That is understandable; but what I do not understand is the lack of professionalism and communication from doctor towards patients. Now, I have to give credit where credit is due: front desk staff that work on weekdays are absolutely professional and warm/welcoming. I have had no issues here. The core nurse team that I saw: Jessica, Maria, and Christina are absolutely the best. If I do continue my fertility journey with Genesis, I do hope these fantastic team stay there.
