Absolutely the greatest servers & staff! Absolutely the most inedible breakfast I ever had. Tried to small bite. Threw out a $10 breakfast. Found several staff equally grossed out by the disgusting food Too bad! A hospital needs decent food for staff and visitors. Inedible is inexcusable. June 12, 2026 a 10-10-30 a.m.

TL; DR: Go to a different hospital. I had a near death experience in December where I was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Typically I go to Montefiore if I think I need to stay in a hospital. There are some good Healthcare workers here. Unfortunately they're completely overshadowed by the ones who shouldn't even be in the field. I was in the ICU being treated by a nurse who was actively looking for work elsewhere, even going so far as to have me lower the volume on the TV so she could complete her call. Before my stay in the ICU I was treated in the ER by inattentive nurses then sent to a floor where I wasn't allowed to shower because of the hospital's liability regardless of the fact that I could ambulate and bathe myself with no issue. I didn't even have a remote initially to call for assistance, and when I did, the nurses here were unresponive to the first and sometimes second ping. I'm lucky my condition wasn't painful. Coupled with the fact that they were trying to work on me in my sleep (which I suspect was for practice because I already had a line installed and they never resumed the procedure), being woken up to multiple needle stabs that I did not consent to sent me into a rage that I cannot understate. The cherry on top was being told I'd be leaving more than once, during the holidays, and having my stay extended. I'm not one to argue with the doctor so I stood until I was cleared, but the sum of all of these experiences equals the most horrendous medical stay in my life. I will never return to this hospital and the whole ordeal has me questioning whether I would ever give the Montefiore system my business again.
