This has been the absolute worst experience of our lives. A family member had to undergo surgery here, and the systemic failures from start to finish were completely unacceptable for a major hospital network. ▪ The Logistics Failure: The day before the procedure, we were given the wrong address. We were told to arrive by 8:00 AM, which required us to leave our homes at 4:30 AM to ensure we were on time. Upon arriving at the wrong location, we were blindly directed to "walk around the corner." ▪ The Medical Delay: Once inside, a nurse informed us the surgery was delayed because they ran out of anesthesia. How does a massive hospital network run out of critical surgical supplies? My uncle didn’t go back for surgery until 3:00 PM—seven hours after our arrival time. ▪ Zero Communication: Every time I called for a status update on his condition, I was given the run-around. The staff was incredibly evasive and refused to be forthcoming with information. ▪ The Discharge: He was finally discharged around 9:20 PM. We received absolutely no apology from management or the clinical staff for the agonizing 13-hour ordeal. If you are considering having surgery here, good luck and pack an immense amount of patience. Ironically, the only pleasant, empathetic person we encountered the entire day was the security guard from Haiti. Avoid this place if you value communication and basic competence.
