The best doctors you'll find anywhere in NYC are here at Mt. Sinai's Faculty Practice. Each one I've seen has had the patience, kindness, ingenuity, and bedside manner of a saint, except one (out of twelve). In eight years, I only had one difficult situation with support staff. I reminded myself that we're all human. I've never waited more than ten minutes for an appointment except once, and I have a rule against waiting more than thirty minutes for any appointment. The radiology department is fantastic. The technicians are personable, professional, and expert at swiftly getting you in and out. I've read the comment attached to the one-star reviews, and frankly, I'm surprised. If a situation is not to someone's liking, there is a need to escalate their complaint there and then, not in a review months later. To keep returning to a situation you're uncomfortable with ten times doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Any relationship with a medical institution or even just one doctor has to be managed as much as they will try to manage the patient.
