I had a great experience at the Eye & I location in Great Neck. The optometrist took his time during my exam and went above and beyond to make sure my prescription was accurate for both distance and near vision. He also recommended newer lens technology that really made a difference. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire process. I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. I’m confident and happy trusting my eyes with this place and will definitely continue to visit. Highly recommend!

The physicians were extremely professional with my examinations. Dr. Kevin Leung is very knowledgeable. However, when a prior authorization was needed, it wasn’t dealt with correctly and not in a timely manner. Even though I had dealt directly with the insurance company, they still needed paperwork from the Doctor. Many times, Doctors must request a prior authorization. The office staff seemed to Discard the urgency of my medication needs. Ultimately, the physicians’ staff contacted The Incorrect insurance company. I found this unbelievable and upsetting. I believe that Eye & I is a company that did not feel obligated to assure me of my necessary medication. I feel extremely uncomfortable with the way that I was treated. In addition, the office staff - Esther, was extremely rude, curt , abrupt, and unprofessional. She was Very Nasty. I believe they did not want my business because I am Black American. She should not be allowed to deal with customers. I will put in further complaints with New York State. No one should have to deal with this unprofessional behavior. I would not refer this ophthalmologist to Anyone.
