Update 1/31/26: Joy Payne, Director of HR, called me back to personally apologize for the scheduling issues, and it genuinely meant so much to me. It was incredibly refreshing to speak with someone who is empathetic, customer-centric, and above all, a truly solid human being. Given my current health situation, Joy’s call made a world of difference. She is a true asset to this clinic, and I wish more companies would invest in employees like her who understand the importance of retaining patients while also prioritizing patient satisfaction. Joy also had NP Kristi schedule an appointment for me, creating an 8 a.m. slot on Saturday even though her schedule was already full. I just completed my appointment with Kristi, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to truly listen to my concerns. She even offered to look further into my medical condition to explore safer alternatives for my care. Her kindness and genuine concern were deeply appreciated, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her without hesitation. Update: on 1/27/26, based on the response below, I gave them a call back. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Spoke to Chelsea, the manager, who said she had no idea who responded below on their behalf, and is unaware of the situation. When I explained the situation, she told me she was not aware of the cancellation, and if there was a cancelation, there is nothing she can do to accommodate. I either take the next availability of mid fed or go elsewhere. So there you have it. These professional auto responses are nothing but automated. They don’t have the volition to resolve any issue. What a truly disappointing experience. Original review: Amanda botros canceled my appointment half a day before my appointment. My only reason for seeking a psychiatrist is med management. I am dealing with health issue which has caused tremendous amount of anxiety. My PCP is uncomfortable with prescribing anti anxiety meds. Her canceling on me at this last minute has left me stranded because I am down to only 4 meds. Her next availability is in mid Feb. The other option was seeing another psychiatrist whose availability was Feb 5th. Is this how you treat patients who are already dealing with health issues? I completely understand things pop up at the last minute but not having a back up and leaving a patient with medicine need stranded is beyond unprofessional and negligent. I cannot believe they wasted my time. I could have found someone else had they not wasted my time. I scheduled this appointment almost 2 weeks ago. Horrible. I am livid at their lack of professionalism.
