After being discharged from Mary Manning Walsh, our mother was more capable of returning home. The surroundings were pleasant, and the staff promptly attended to the call bell. The therapy was excellent, including physical and occupational therapy, and we were very satisfied. We also enjoyed the beautiful terrace. All the staff members deserve commendation for their kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude.

I stopped by ArchCare recently to visit my friend who is checked in here for rehab after a bad spell. The building (which is a very attractive building) is on York between 71/72 which is across from Weill Cornell NYP hospital. When you enter, a security desk at the right checks you in and gives you a red stick on badge. Also to the right seems to be a church and straight ahead is a very nice large sitting area. On the left is the elevators. I have been here several times and I know the elevators are notoriously slow. After I finished visiting your friend, you should give your stick on badge back to the security guard so they know you have left the building. The public ares are all pretty nice.
