My mother had been seeing Dr. Green for a decade. Last weekend, after mom ended up in the ER for 8 hours with several serious symptoms, I reached out to Dr. Green to help me understand the tests she had been given and what to do keep her healthy. I couldn't get an appointment for a month, so found a geriatrician who could see my mother in two weeks instead of four. Still, Dr. Green remained my mom's physician of record, so I requested a 10-minute phone call. She refused through her office without alerting me. I called back, explained the situation more fully, and still she refused to talk to me because she said, she hadn't seen my mother in over a year -- despite their 10 year history. My mom is 95 and I love her. I would never, ever recommend a physician so callous and unkind to care for anyone.
