Dr Volpi refused to renew my prescription for a CPAP after my machine broke unless I came into the city for a new sleep study at his facility during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, this despite the fact that insurance was willing to replace the machine. Because of the holidays, I will have been without a CPAP for multiple weeks, putting my health at risk, and when I get a new prescription from my new ENT closer to home, I will no longer be under my 2020 deductible for insurance so it will end up costing me much more money to get the same machine. Thanks a LOT Dr. Volpi. I hope the extra money to your facility from your remaining patients is worth it.
