An absolute joke of a place. The only thing they're focused on is meeting their quotas and staying rich. Period. That's all anyone needs to know about this place. But, if you want to know about my experience, I was told by Kristy that I had to admit that I had trauma in order to be seen by them. Domestic violence counseling should not require a client to admit trauma or label themselves in order to receive support. She then acted confused when I asked her for her supervisor, as in she didn't want to pass to one. Later, upon attempting to complain about this and telling them I just need support and I am not "ill", this decision was upheld by Phillip, who said I "had already been told it would not be a fit for me" and did not want to take the complaint about Kristy. Phillip claimed to be the director of this terrible "program." 0/10.

Myself and my three children all have PTSD from a years of verbal and physical abuse. I came to this place for help in trying to pull us all out of it, as I took the steps towards separation, my career in shambles, isolated and with no one to rely on. They said I had too many crises going on, and this 'wasn't what CVTC does.' I guess they are busy helping people who are safely away from the sources of their trauma and already happily rebuilding their lives. I wish I had never begun treatment with them. Finally finding and feeling safe enough to rely on a therapist who is helping you through the darkest time in your life--and then losing that one island--is just another layer of insurmountable weight I now have to carry. How is that therapeutic in any imaginable way?
