In the past I had wonderful experiences with Dr. Poveda and while I never take google reviews too seriously, today everything has changed. I have worked in service for years and understand how rude clients and customers can be, but the woman at the front desk would benefit from not taking her frustrations at the work place out on others. These reviews clearly reflect the service there. I have been written up at jobs for less, I was in shock at how this lady spoke to me upon inquiring if I could schedule an appointment after calling during their business hours the whole week. It is not my fault your systems are down, I had no way of knowing that and I definitely did not start my interaction with accusations. Do better.

Honesty I have been going here since I was kid maybe 10 years old and Dr Poveda is amazing, so friendly and kind. But I have had the worst experience with the people who work for her at the front desk picking up phones and scheduling appointments, which is why I will not be coming back again. I recently changed insurance and instead of explaining to me in a calm and polite way that I can't schedule an appointment until I get assigned here by my new insurance, she decided to be very nasty and rude over the phone. Cutting me off and speaking to me as if I was bothering her, raising her voice at me because i asked her simple questions on how I would be able to go about scheduling a new appointment. This is not the first time this has happened when I called but this certainly will be the last because the level of disrespect i received from them today is unacceptable and i will not be going back. It's really a shame because Dr Poveda is so great but being completely disrespected by her staff is not.
