CityMD Southern Boulevard Urgent Care - Bronx

Very disappointed in my visit. . I took my daughter for possible ear infection/bug in the ear. I know there was a bug because we have an ear camera and saw the bug. I was told by the doctor it was wax, he finally decided to give my child pain reliever and eardrop and said if the pain continues "don't come back here go to the ER". Also, he told the MA to give us a referral for ENT as he was walking through the door. What's the purpose of urgent care if they are not equip with proper equipments to treat patients and better bed side manner. It got worse, I was able to schedule an appointment for ENT through their affiliate Summit Health. She booked me an appointment with an ENT in Yonkers at 7:30 am, as thats the only location with the earliest available appointment only to get there for them to tell me they don't accept our insurance. Fumes was coming out my ear. They need to do better.

I visited this location for the first time on a Saturday back in May. When I arrived at 8:30 am there was already about 5-6 people online waiting. At the time we had to form a line outside of the building. The staff would let in a few patients at a time where you would register yourself at the Kiosk. The establishment was very clean and organized. I would say my whole visit was under 1 ½ hours including waiting outside in line. The staff were friendly and professional. There is hand sanitizer all around the lobby area. The check-out process was also a breeze. I would visit this location again.
