I have been coming to this CityMD for quite some time and have never had any issues with the staff. Every provider and nurse I’ve encountered in the past has been professional, respectful, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with nurse Mushka Edelkops was completely different. I came in regarding a sensitive matter and did not feel comfortable or supported during the interaction. Her tone came across as dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. When I asked questions to better understand my situation, I felt like I was being talked down to instead of being treated with patience and respect. As a patient, especially when discussing something personal, I expected compassion and professionalism, but I left feeling upset and uncomfortable. This was the first negative experience I’ve ever had at this location, which is disappointing because I’ve always had positive experiences here before. One interaction can make a big difference in a patient’s day, and unfortunately this one left a lasting negative impression. I hope CityMD addresses this and reminds staff of the importance of treating patients with kindness, respect, and empathy.
