I was super impressed with this CityMD location!! I was seen very quickly, the intake person at the front desk was efficient and helpful, and the PA and attendant who took my vitals were outstanding. I saw the PA called Alyssa and she was absolutely fantastic. I was very distressed because a piece of my hearing aid was stuck in my ear and everyone was very patient with me even though I was freaked out. Alyssa was very quick about getting it out quickly and being very reassuring. She is amazing. I love this location!! I highly recommend it!

I had been feeling under the weather for about 10 days so I made an appointment at CityMD to try to figure out what was going on. The facility itself feels new and very clean and everyone I interacted with was pleasant, but ultimately, there was a massive miscommunication with my care. I was tested for Covid, Flu, Strep A and Mono and the doctor told me everything came back negative. He prescribed me a Medrol Dosepak (which wasn’t really relevant to my situation and has many potential side effects) and suggested that if I don’t feel better in a few days, I should be tested for Lupus or thyroid issues. I found this a little bizarre because I don’t have any relevant past medical history and none of my annual blood tests have ever come back abnormal. The following day, I signed into my portal to find that my Strep A result actually read “Positive”. CityMD apologized and called in an antibiotic to my pharmacy. On the way to pick up the antibiotic, I realized it was unclear whether the doctor told me the wrong result or whether the result was incorrectly entered into my profile. I called CityMD back and they basically said the fastest solution was to come back in and get re-tested. I confirmed the time I would be back in with the manager, but once I arrived, I found that he had apparently stepped out to lunch. Once I was seen again, the second doctor confirmed that I was indeed positive for Strep A, but did not agree with the dose of the antibiotic that was sent in for me. I don’t know what’s going on at this facility, but this experience was a complete mess and I’m not confident in the care that they are providing here. The way the manager handled this mistake was very disappointing as well.
