I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Rita De Palma at Circle Medical. I have been a Circle Medical patient for three years and have never experienced the level of disrespect, lack of understanding, and judgment that I received during my recent visit with Rita. My pharmacy access issues and refill timing have always been openly communicated and previously accommodated without any problems. However, during this visit, Rita ignored the real and well-documented medication shortages in my region and instead blamed me for circumstances completely outside of my control. She suggested that I travel long distances to pharmacies that were not realistic options for me, and when I explained the challenges I face in my area, she threatened to shorten my prescription supply moving forward. This threat was completely unprofessional and felt punitive, creating an unnecessary burden by potentially forcing me into more frequent appointments and pharmacy trips, as well as higher out-of-pocket costs. On top of this, Rita made aggressive and judgmental remarks about my work and travel lifestyle, which felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I left the appointment feeling disrespected, blamed, and unsupported. Additionally, I was not properly informed that an annual wellness exam was required before my visit. This lack of transparency led to a wasted appointment, no support, and an unexpected charge for a visit that did not address my needs. Overall, this was a complete waste of time and money and left me deeply disappointed. I strongly recommend that Circle Medical re-evaluate Rita De Palma’s approach to patient care. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for respectful, understanding, and patient-centered medical support.
