I went to Diamond Braces to fix a shifting issue in my bottom front teeth. During my consultation, I was asked if I wanted to close small side gaps on my top teeth. I clearly said no, because my top teeth were not my concern. Despite that, the doctor insisted on putting braces on my top teeth without properly explaining why it was necessary. I trusted their judgment at first, but within a few days I returned and asked them to remove the top braces because that was never what I wanted treatment for. After the procedure was completed, they provided me with an Invisalign-style retainer that was poorly made. It did not fit properly or sit correctly on my teeth. Within a month, my teeth had shifted back to how they were before I even started treatment. I essentially paid and went through this process for no improvement. Worse than that, the treatment actually created new problems. The bottom braces and bite blocks appear to have pushed my teeth too far, and now my bite is off. My top teeth now overlap in a way they didn’t before, and I’m even biting into the roof of my mouth, which was never an issue prior to coming here. So not only did they fail to fix the original issue, they left me with a worse dental condition than when I started. I now have to seek corrective treatment elsewhere. On top of everything, I requested copies of my records, including photos, treatment details, and my contract. It has been two months, and I still have not received everything I asked for. This lack of transparency is extremely concerning. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I regret coming here. I would not recommend this location to anyone seeking orthodontic care.
