When I first started as a new patient, all was going well. Staff was professional & I liked the NP. However, after some time has passed since I've been a patient, my last few experiences have not been pleasant. I had been waiting to see the NP for about 2 hours just to get blood work results. I politely asked one of the staff members how long will it be until I'm seen by the Dr.(NP) because I had another appt and she replied very rudely. After making a cancellation in the past, I stopped receiving reminder calls for appointments. One day I showed up and they told me the Dr was not in and it was canceled. No one had called to inform me. Patients are asked to call in an advance for cancellations it should go both ways. My time is precious as well. I've also heard the Nurse Practitioner complain about patients in front of me on several occasions which I find to be very unprofessional. I let things slide because everyone is entitled to a bad day, however, after several experiences that was the last straw for me. That said, not sure if the absence of reminders to me were done on purpose or not if you don't go every 3 months as they prefer, so that way you can leave on your own accord. If that was the goal, mission accomplished! I would also not rather attend a Dr's office with staff that are rude and unprofessional.
