Warning: Unprofessional Conduct and Predatory Billing Practices I should have listened to the negative reviews. My experience with Dr. Charles Oliner was not just unprofessional—it felt predatory. My initial "consultation" lasted about four minutes and cost $300. Dr. Oliner sat with his feet on the desk, performed no tests, and asked zero questions. After I spent 15 seconds explaining my symptoms, he offered a wild assumption unsupported by evidence. When I pointed out the inconsistencies in his theory, he simply stared at me in silence until I felt pressured to leave. I eventually had to demand tests, to which he responded with a grin: "I mean, sure, it will cost a lot, but I can do them." Against my better judgment, I paid several thousand dollars upfront for a procedure. On the day of, there was zero guidance; I woke up alone and delirious, handed a generic printout for a condition I didn't have. Weeks later, he called me in to "review results." With his feet back up on the table, he confirmed I didn’t have the condition he predicted. When I asked what the issue actually was, he literally laughed and said, "I have no idea," before sending me out with a pamphlet for a disease the labs had just ruled out. The worst part started four months later. I began receiving random invoices from various agencies claiming Dr. Oliner sent them. The invoices were incoherent "gibberish," and Dr. Oliner’s office ignored all my requests for clarification. These agencies then threatened to trash my credit score. Out of fear for my financial health, I paid, but the bills never stopped. For over a year—even after moving out of state—I have been hounded by different companies for "services" I never received. It feels like an organized extortion ring. Dr. Oliner is a discredit to the medical field. Please, do your research and find a specialist who actually cares about patient health rather than just their debit card. If you do see him, be prepared for a never-ending cycle of bogus charges and zero communication.
