I found a wonderful supportive therapist and then the center itself cancelled my appointment without communicating to me the nature of the cancellation. Up until then the therapist was great until it became almost impossible to get on her schedule regularly. The psychiatrists don't care about anything except throwing prescriptions at you. I got NOTHING out of psychiatry except a script. This is what happens when Government runs mental health services. It pays for Pharma and you're left scraping up what bits and pieces of support you can find. You're not alone. You will make it through this TOO. Do not expect them to give you regularly scheduled sessions you're just a # to them.

The therapy I continue to receive here became available at a very crucial point in time. My therapist/ counselor is excellent at her job and works with my schedule. Remote visits are even available when I’m not able to attend in-person. The cost is either free or extremely inexpensive, depending on one’s financial situation. This facility is a necessary asset to our community.
