While I felt that I had a good visit with the doctor and she was very thorough in her exam, but I left not really getting any real answers. She gave me a test to take home called a "Breath Test" and you would have to breathe in it and send it off to the company. The only issue I have is my insurance doesn't want to pay for it and it cost $300 dollars. So if this is a test you said I should take, but my insurance is saying they need more information. And the problem I'm having is with the secretary or whomever is charged with speaking with your insurance company. I called the Dr's office telling them I'm trying to get my insurance company to pay for the test, but they need the provider to call. And I'm actually going back and forth with the secretary because she doesn't want to do it. I've been going to the doctors all my life and I know you have doctor office that will go and call the provider to see what they can do. I'm just going to find another doctor and get a 2nd opinion because I'm still having the same issues. I work for a hospital myself and I know sometimes you have extend a patients care and if all it takes for it to get paid is a phone call why not do it.
