Throughout my visit, I was treated in a rude, dismissive, and arrogant manner by the staff. Rather than being provided with options and allowed to make an informed decision. I was told that the lenses they recommended were not covered by my insurance and that I would have to pay out of pocket for them. When I declined and requested a different option, I was informed that I would be required to sign a waiver. Requiring a waiver simply because a customer declines a recommended product creates an intimidating environment and raises concerns about whether customers are being given unbiased information regarding their choices. I was also informed that although my insurance provides over $100 frame allowance, I could only use it as a $50 voucher in the store. This explanation was confusing and concerning. If my insurance benefit provides certain amount toward frames, I expect a clear and transparent explanation as to why the full amount was not available to me. The information provided by the staff left me feeling misled regarding my insurance benefits. The lack of transparency regarding insurance coverage, and the disrespectful attitude displayed by the staff made this an extremely unpleasant experience.
