My husband has been a patient of Dr. Bogdan for many years, and we have always appreciated his professionalism and genuine care for his patients. However, I am extremely disappointed with the treatment we’ve received from the front desk staff. They are consistently rude and unprofessional, which greatly detracts from the otherwise positive experience with Dr. Bogdan. My husband had a spinal procedure done in October, and Dr. Bogdan scheduled the same procedure to be done again within two months, as per his recommendation. However, the receptionist contacted my husband to push him into scheduling an appointment with another doctor before the procedure. My husband refused, as he trusts Dr. Bogdan and does not want to see another physician who is unfamiliar with his case. Unfortunately, the staff person Larisa hung up on him after that. He also had a very concerning experience when he went to see a Chinese doctor for an assessment as recommended by office staff. The consultation lasted only five minutes, with no proper examination, and the doctor didn’t even ask detailed questions—just where the pain was located. This felt like a waste of time, money, and insurance resources. It seemed like the office is pushing unnecessary visits to other doctors, which feels like a scam. Overall, while Dr. Bogdan’s care is excellent, the handling of appointments and communication from the office staff needs significant improvement. We are considering looking for another provider due to these frustrations.
