Was quoted for a service and paid my balance upon my visit. Had questions about another balance because I was being sent text messages that looked like spam. Called the office multiple times and was not able to get a straight answer, until the dentist called me back herself. Not sure about the mix up in communication but I was told that their billing was done by a third party. Even if the additional charges were a result of issues with my insurance, I did not appreciate the tone of the conversation. In addition to that, I started getting texts for my annual check up. Per the automated text "there will be a 50 dollar charge for now show appts or less than 48 hours notice" Convenient that this reminder was sent within 48 hours, so assuming if I needed to move my appointment, I would have been charged. On top of all of that, they didn't even address the text to the correct person. When I did not confirm my appointment, they ended up canceling, which is fine. I did not intend on giving them my business going forward. From that point I am then being sent notice that I have a past due balance. Not sure who is in charge of the finances here but the "balance" that I was being reminded of was paid in full two months prior. That was really the nail in the coffin for me. I understand that you are running a business, but please check yourself before you are bothering people about settled payments. This organization really found a way to take the care out of healthcare. Thank you for giving me a reason to go back to my old dentist.
