I’m giving this company a one-star review based on my experience with the Omni 2 hearing aids. I purchased the Omni 2 hearing aids online after speaking with a sales specialist. Initially, everything sounded great. I’m a tractor-trailer driver, so the Bluetooth calling feature was one of the main reasons I chose these hearing aids. During one of my first calls from the truck, the person I spoke with said I sounded crystal clear, like I was sitting right next to him. Unfortunately, over time the sound quality began to deteriorate. I worked several times with the technician assigned to my account, Gianni, and we decided to send the hearing aids back for adjustments. After they were returned, things seemed better, and my 100-day trial period was almost over. However, people still told me I sounded “underwater” during calls. I returned the hearing aids again to be assessed, but I was told they were functioning properly. The very next morning after charging them, I called my wife and immediately heard crackling in my ears, while she again said I sounded underwater. Eventually, I had a Zoom call with another tech specialist. One of the first questions she asked was what kind of phone I had. I explained that I use the latest iPhone, and she told me the Omni 2 microphone does not pair well with iPhones. She suggested the Beam model would have been a better option and said she would leave notes on my account to see what could be worked out. However, when I later spoke with Gianni again, I was simply walked through more troubleshooting steps while I was driving and unable to make changes at that moment. There was no real effort to offer a solution or replacement, despite the earlier recommendation from the tech specialist. At the end of all this, I’m left with Bluetooth hearing aids that I can’t reliably use for Bluetooth calls — which was one of the main reasons I bought them in the first place. I’ve had to go back to using my Bluetooth headset instead. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
