Dr. Seneviratne cleaned up my meniscus for me. He was so diligent in the surgery to find the root cause of my problem rather than just addressing the issue. He came and talked to me right after surgery explaining everything with pictures which was so helpful. I am excited for my post op visit and next steps to a healthy knee! I would 10/10 recommend him for any of your knee issues. Plus he has awesome bedside manners and very personable!

After having had partial knee replacement 9 years ago and experiencing enormous pain and a very long recovery, I was hesitant to go ahead with my second knee. Dr. Seneviratne came well recommended by my friend who seemed to recover and walk well within a couple of weeks of her surgery which gave me the courage to interview her Dr. for my right knee. The Dr. was gentle and thorough and answered all my questions before I even asked them. He assured me that this new technique of robotic arm surgery would be much more efficient, give me much less pain and that I would be up and around in a short period of time. All of this was true. I had an exceptional experience working with him in his office and at Mt Sinai West which has a new wing devoted to joint replacement surgery. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Seneviratne listens to his patients. Best of all, I walked the day after surgery. It is three weeks and I am almost as good as new. Even the incision is virtually healed.
