My wife uses hearing aids, and we have been going to Dr. Resnick exclusively for his service and advice. Despite living in New Jersey we make the trip into the city for hearing checkups, device updates, etc. because, unlike “hearing aid mills” where they just are in business to sell hearing aids, Dr. Resnick takes these time to evaluate your situation by measuring your hearing as well as by asking about your home and work environments, and free time activities, whether it be loud stadium games or concerts, or quieter activities, in order to properly fit you with the most appropriate aid and advice. We initially had a number of questions, being new to this universe of devices, and Dr. Resnick too the time to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each solution for our particular set of circumstances. He definitely is not a “one size fits all” practitioner, and that’s what sold us. By all means, if you feel that your hearing is not what it was, go for a hearing test and consultation. It’s painless and informative. I’ll never forget what my wife said in the car on the way home when she was fitted with her first set of aids. She said, “What’s that clicking noise?” It was the directional signals, that she had never heard before. Really made my eyes tear. Thank you Dr. Resnick.
