I recently scheduled a consultation at Rebalance NYC / ITS Academy for male laser hair removal. The online scheduling process was very easy and convenient. However, once I arrived for the consultation, I was told that their laser hair removal machine (an Alma laser) is not suitable for darker skin tones. My skin tone is between Fitzpatrick 4–5, so unfortunately I was not a candidate for treatment there. I was a bit disappointed to learn this only after arriving, as it might have saved some travel time if this information had been discussed during a phone consultation beforehand. That said, the scheduling process itself was straightforward, and the staff were professional during the visit.

It was the worst experience of my life. I went there for a cosmetic procedure Botox. And after filling out all the paper work. They put me in a room to wait for the doctor. I sat there for 30 mins and no one ever came in. Not even to tell me if she was running late. The room was 85 degrees. I was literally soaked in my own sweat. So I got up finally and walked out.
