The dr Hayama Brill as a specialist is great. But her administrator is very irresponsible and unprofessional. Over the phone, I explained that I was looking for a doctor to manage my pregnancy and delivery, named my insurance company, and asked if the doctor had availability and accepted patients with my insurance. She replied that yes, they accept that insurance, but only in Brooklyn, and the doctor would be able to manage my pregnancy. I asked if the doctor could definitely take me for pregnancy management and delivery, because I already had an appointment with another doctor, but he wouldn't be able to manage my pregnancy until the end because he would be on vacation around my due date and told me to find another doctor. She said, "Yes, the doctor will be able to manage your pregnancy and deliver your baby; you need to cancel your appointment with the previous doctor because they don't like it when patients see different doctors." I had waited almost 3 weeks for this appointment. When I went to the office, another administrator told me, "Oh, you're pregnant, but with your insurance, the doctor only does pregnancy confirmation, not full pregnancy management." How could this happen when I explained everything clearly over the phone? Why are you wasting patients' time and not taking any responsibility for the situation? Especially since I have a high-risk pregnancy. Only the nurse, Yana, showed a willingness to help me and tried to solve this issue. The administrator, seemed that she doesn’t care.
