I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Nelly Cohen. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt welcomed and cared for. The doctor is probably great but I wouldn’t know. The staff is exactly what was mentioned in the prior complaints. I booked the appointment 2 days ago. I even called 2 hours before the appointment to make sure my insurance was accepted and that I didn’t have to do anything else. The person answered the phone asking what insurance I had, I told her. She says “yes yes we accept it come in.” I get there after coming from upstate NY only for the front desk manager to tell me I need to switch something on the insurance before being seen, which would take at least 24hrs. When I told her I spoke to someone she questioned me asking “do you know who you spoke to, it’s only 3 of us here.” It’s unacceptable and unprofessional that simple task like insurance verification and confirming appointments can be so hard yet so simple. But it’s the end of day and everyone wants to go home right? I’ll take my health care needs some place else. They should hire some more attentive staff.
