Scammed for $230 upgrades. Disastrous service and terrible quality!
Avoid this place at all costs! We paid an extra $230 out of pocket for premium features: anti-glare, blue light coating, and scratch protection.
Round 1: When we picked up the glasses, the blue light and anti-glare coatings were completely missing. I called them, and the front-desk guy admitted it was an "order mistake." He told us to bring them back the next day at a specific time, promising the manager/tech would be there.
Round 2 (The Circus): We arrived the next day as instructed, but the manager wasn't there. Instead, there was a DIFFERENT front-desk employee who had absolutely no clue about our issue because the first guy didn't leave any notes. We had to waste an hour of our lives while she repeatedly tried to call the manager. Finally, he picked up, told us to leave the glasses, and promised they’d be ready in a week.
Round 3 (The Final Trash): A week later, we got the glasses. It’s a joke. Instead of high-quality blue-light-filtering lenses, they just slapped a cheap blue tint on top. The lenses literally look like a Windows "Blue Screen of Death". Worse, the "anti-glare" is defective: under sunlight, severe sun glares flash along the edges of the lenses directly into the eyes, making them unusable in the sun.
Total incompetence, zero internal communication, and cheap materials for premium prices. Will never return.
UPD: Whoever called me from this business wanted to "hear my side of the story." Miss, my side of the story is listed above, plain and simple. However, I can certainly add a few more details about your "marketing enterprise" and sketchy pricing tactics.
Before a first visit, I was quoted around $150 for upgrades (anti-glare and scratch protection). But once the eye exam was done, they hit with the surprise that blue-light blocking is a completely separate charge, jacking the total up to $230. In any reputable optical store, premium features like anti-glare and blue-light protection usually come as a single package and all three rarely exceed $200. Here, they split them up to trick you into paying more.
So, after falling for their pricing trap, we endured a two-week circus of waiting, zero internal communication, and terrible service, only to end up with a defective product that blindly glares in the sun. I will not waste my time on private phone calls to repeat what is already written here.
