Google review (Lauren C Anderson): Dr Lotfi has been my primary care for 15 years. He does not make you feel rushed, and he tells you what he thinks as well as providing options. He stays current on guidance and requirements and he is compassionate and caring, with.a good sense of humor. He would be the first to say although you can get a particular vaccination, now, if you wait, a newer one is due to come out that can provide better coverage with fewer shots. (This is a hypothetical example!) He is very responsive when using the NYU Langone messaging system on MyChart. Although you can wait quite a long time to get an appointment (up to 3 months), in time sensitive situations he is very responsive.

Google review (Alla Krasnogorina): I am saddened to write this review, because in general I really liked Dr. Lotfi. He was thorough and personable, asked me questions about my history and gave good advice. I had switched to him as my primary physician.
Recently I was in the ER, and they had recommended some actions, but I was also encouraged to speak to my regular doctor. I called the office, and left messages. Apparently, the doctor will not even speak to you on the phone unless you come into the office. I had explained to his assistant that I just wanted to have a conversation prior to scheduling an appointment ( as we all know , not all visits are covered by insurance). I did not want to come in for a visit and then be directed to yet another doctor where I would need to spend even more money on a procedure. I asked repeatedly to just speak to him- who should be concerned that I was in the ER a few weeks back. He refused to speak with me and ignored my comments and told his assistant to call me back.
I understand a 5 minute conversation will not diagnose me but it could provide some guidance as to who I may want to see next. Guess I'll be unfortunately switching my doctors.

Google review (Felicia Odusi): All the doctors at Nyu Trinity Center are excellent from internal medicine to gastroenterology, pulmonology, gynecology etc. Dr. Lotfi is very caring and knowledgeable . I recommend him highly and have always received first rate care there. All 4 of my doctors are in that office.
