Mona Bashar, MD

Stay away!! This doctor is looking to overtreat. She caused me so much unnecessary anxiety, suggesting I might have cancer or COPD!! I did get another chest xray which said mild inflammation and some possible scarring. She then wanted to do a CT scan. When I questioned it, after she didn’t offer any explanation as to why she wanted to do it, she agreed that the mild inflammation was a result of the infection that was resolving and that there was no treatment for the ‘possible’ scaring. It was like I caught her out on her game and at that point she gave up. Just an awful experience and laughable given that she bills herself as someone who really tries to help the patient understand everything.

I have been seeing Dr. Bashar approximately 3 years and going for my yearly checkup next month. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. She replies to messages via my chart as soon as she can. She is very thorough and explains any concerns I may have. Her staff is great! I highly recommend Dr. Bashar!

Dr.Bashar is very pleasant and very knowledgeable, treats you as family and recommends what's is best for you and at times you may not want here the reality on certain situations of your health but I value and respect that she has the best intentions for you to get better and see thru for you to get better . Plus her entire staff is pleasant and very helpful and will always work with you to get an appointment to see her.

Dr. Bashar has been wonderful, honest & carrying. I would recommend her to all my family and friends. Dr. Bashar bedside manner is very supportive, she leaves time and encourages questions.

She is a very caring doctor. Explains things to you fully. And listens to all your concerns, I would strongly recommend her to all who may ask me for a good pulmonoligist.
