Jamie L. Bessich, M.D.

I've had two bronchoscopic procedures performed by Dr. Bessich. I awoke from both with no discomfort at all. I've had similar procedures performed at other facilities and they didn't go as well. Furthermore, Dr. Bessich personally called me afterwards to report and discuss her findings. Nobody in the hospitals does that these days. Dr. Bessich is both talented at what she does and a truly nice and caring physician who takes a great deal of time to do things the right way. God how I wish all the doctors I encounter were that good. I can't recommend her more highly.

I honestly don’t understand what is going on with this hospital. While the nurses have been outstanding, other aspects of their service have been horrendous. This is the same hospital where both my children were born, have had several surgeries and I have sung their praises for years. But now my Mom had lung cancer surgery a year ago and a bronchoscopy several months ago and every time I need test results it’s like pulling teeth. This morning was my 8th attempt ( you heard correctly ) and this time no one answered. I have left numerous messages, tried to go online, had difficulties, asked for assistance and was brushed off with answers that I don’t want to repeat ( they’re so absurd). So after months of waiting for lab results no one has the decency to call and speak to me with the results pertaining to a cancer patient. I guess if they’re not receiving money, the patient isn’t worth anything. Extremely disappointing.

Nice doctor. Called me at home and spent 35 mins discussing my case. That's very rare for a hospital physician. She's diligent, experienced, very patient and easy to talk to. Highly recommended.
