This woman sent my 10 week old baby away as “shes fine, its just acid reflux” after being to the hospital several times which can be seen on her chart. She made it sound like she was okay and as a first time mom I actually believed her at first, and she made it sound like we didnt need to stay overnight at hospital so we went home. When I left I felt like we were truly dismissed and that I was crazy for thinking she was sick. Well 2 days later we were back at hospital and my baby needed an IV and oxygen and we were eventually flown by medic plane to the Edmonton Stollery for 6 days because my baby has a legitimate allergy syndrome that was killing her. The only good thing Afari did was send us to Edmonton, she’s incompetent and inattentive at best and Im glad Edmonton gave us a referral for a different paediatrician because I will never trust this woman with my babys health ever again.

I fully recommend!!!!! She was my primary DR. It’s sad that I move far away and she’s not anymore. Yes it’s a big wait but definitely worth it. Very knowledge in the industry. Seen many Doctors that prefer you out their office as fast as possible. I use to take the day off for her and it was always beneficial for me. God bless her always Irv.G

She's a great Dr. very thorough but her waiting time is pathetic. Expect waiting for more than 3 hours. Its a pitty because of that I left her practice and I have seen patients walk out because of that as well. An hour should be more than enough to be with a patient not more than that.

If you want a Dr. that will not rush you out the examination room and listens to all your questions she is the 1! This Dr. Is very dedicated. If you plan on visiting her it may take a while so bring snacks and maybe a light lunch. I recently went at 11 and got out at 6:30, l was #9 on the list. It was a busy day for her many patients called with emergencies but l came with breakfast and almonds to snack on. You wont be disappointed... very professional and invested in her patients.
