I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Anderer for taking the time in the past to review my medical studies and provide such a thoughtful and detailed opinion. First, I have to get this out before I burst from excitement. Dr. Erich G. Anderer is the best!!!! I was referred to him in 2023 due to a positive MRI for moderate degenerative arthritis of the spine (L4/L5). He was referred as “a surgeon, who is not quick to recommend surgery”. And so he was. He referred me for physical therapy (PT), which worked well until almost 2 years later. I thought it was the same diagnoses with excruciating pain while standing and walking and was referred for pain management by a next surgeon for follow up. Pain management sent me to “a surgeon, who is not quick to recommend surgery”. So due to the degenerating change in my MRI, I was ready for surgery of my lower back (L4 spinal surgery) with Dr. Erich G. Anderer. He and his team did an excellent job with answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. I have no regrets. I walked to the bathroom hours after waking up from surgery and appreciated the improvement right away!! He and his team came to check on me often and made sure that I was comfortable to go home on day 2 of surgery, with all I needed. I recommend Dr. Erich G. Anderer for anyone who is looking for an efficient, respectable, and proficient surgeon for back surgery.💯

I was referred to Dr. Anderer after being treated by a pain management doctor for over one year and at least 15 spinal injections later. Dr. Anderer took his time listening to my concerns and speaking to me at my initial consultation with him. There was no rush, he was very patient and understanding. His bed-side manner is by far the greatest I have experienced. Three weeks ago I underwent a cervical fusion surgery with Dr. Anderer. He came and saw me and spoke to me before surgery, before I was put to sleep he made sure I visually saw him there, and after the surgery he came and saw me in recovery to explain how the procedure went. His office was very quick at responding to any questions or concerns I had the days following my surgery. Today was my first post-operative appointment and again Dr. Anderer was in no rush. He took his time speaking to me and to me that is very important because it shows his compassion for his patients. It shows how important we are to him. Another very key factor is that the surgery was a success and has helped me a tremendous amount. I am thankful to have met Dr. Anderer and I would refer any of my loved ones to him if needed, without hesitation! Great person, the world needs replicas of Dr. Anderer!
