Dr. Elliot Borgen, Interventional Cardiologist at Maimonides Medical Center is a wise, compassionate, experienced and skilled practitioner. I have been seeing Dr. Borgen for 10 years and he has taken excellent care of me. I really appreciate his calm manner and we have made many medical decisions together. When I needed an intervention he immediately went into action and with the full resources of his excellent team skillfully navigated me through a critical period. He really made the difference. It aided in my healing and feeling of well being knowing the level of his involvement at every turn. He also is a great communicator with a sense of humor (which always helps in these situations). Dr. Borgen performed an angiogram on my husband this morning. His expertise, professionalism, kindness and bedside manner all exemplary. It was a very pleasant (if necessary) experience at Maimonides.
